Terms
Beta terms
These are the plain-language rules for the free public beta. They will be replaced by full terms before paid features launch.
The service
Ompera lets you use AI models — your own, ones in your pools, or network models — through one API. During the beta the service is free, provided “as is”, and may change, pause or reset features. There is no uptime guarantee: models run on people's own computers and phones and can go offline at any time.
Your account
- Keep your passkeys, wallet and API keys safe. Anyone with your API key can use models as you.
- Add a second sign-in method; we cannot recover an account whose only passkey or wallet is lost.
Acceptable use
- Don't use Ompera for anything illegal, to harm others, or to create content that exploits or endangers people.
- Don't try to access other people's accounts, models or requests, overload the service, or bypass limits.
- Follow the licenses of the models you connect or use.
- Don't use models or services through Ompera for unfair, manipulative or deceptive acts; to exploit people's age, disability or social or economic situation; for predictive policing or social scoring; for emotion recognition at work or in education; for real-time remote biometric identification in public places for law enforcement; to sort people by sensitive characteristics from biometric data; or to build facial recognition databases by scraping images from the internet or CCTV. Some model and runtime publishers, such as Qualcomm, require this.
Export and sanctions
Ompera's apps contain software that U.S. export control and sanctions laws apply to. Don't download or use them in, or for anyone in, a country or region under comprehensive U.S. sanctions (currently Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Syria, and the Russian-occupied Crimea, Donetsk and Luhansk regions of Ukraine), for military end uses those laws prohibit, or if you are on a U.S., EU or UK restricted-party list.
Sharing models
When you join a pool, every model you connect is available to its members while connected. Their requests run on your computer and you can read them. Only invite people who know this, respect their privacy, and don't misuse what they send. When you use a pool model, don't send anything you wouldn't want its operator to see.
Content and responsibility
You are responsible for what you send and how you use the answers. Models can be wrong or produce inappropriate output; check important results yourself. Ompera does not review or store request content.
Ownership
Ompera — its software, website, design, texts and logo — is protected by copyright, and all rights are reserved. You may use the service as these terms describe. You may not copy, resell or republish Ompera, or present it as your own. Open-source and third-party components inside Ompera keep their own licenses; see Open-source licenses. Some of them, such as Qualcomm's NPU runtime and Google ML Kit in the Android apps, may not be reverse engineered. Your prompts, the answers you get and the models you connect do not become ours.
Suspension
We may limit or suspend accounts that break these rules or put others at risk.
